In the morning service, the children are looked after in the respective groups due to the current Corona situation. During this time, the children can arrive in peace, have breakfast and start the day as they wish. The breaks in the morning and the afternoon, as well as lunch, are fixed components in the kindergarten, as well as in pre-school.
In kindergarten, the children experience a different educational focus every day and can choose from different activities. To give the children a structure and thus security, the educational activities always take place at the same time. The educational activities are based on the structured daily routine, whereby consideration is given to the individual stage of development. In the afternoon, the children can choose from an additional pool of activities, some of which are offered across groups. Free play in the garden, movement activities, and a guided sports program take place regularly.
All festivals are celebrated by the German cycle of the year. We start the year of education and care with Thanksgiving, the lantern festival and end it with St. Nicholas and Christmas. At the turn of the year, we celebrate carnival, Easter, and end the year with a big summer festival. Nigerian holidays and celebrations are taken into account as much as possible and incorporated into the annual festivities.
